- Work with healthcare agencies, faith-based organizations, and civil society groups to increase health and workforce literacy.
- Assist community-based organizations to develop proposals for funding, particularly in those areas emphasizing women and development, youth socialization, income generation, and entrepreneurship.
- Assist universities and other organizations to form international partnerships with their peers.
- Provide training in community health work, workforce development, cultural competency, technology and health literacy, and business development, motivational interviewing, and data collection and entry.
- Implement national and international surveys.
- Carryout health emergency planning, management and training, particularly focused on pandemic preparedness.
